Team Evaluation

I believe that our final animated environment/ short film demonstrates how well we gelled as a team. I was fortunate to be in such a talented yet friendly group. We occasionally had our differences however we did not let it get in the way of our work and we very quickly put our differences aside and got on with the task in hand, usually by helping one another and suggesting solutions to various problems. We kept calm and patient and thus the workflow was not affected. At lunch we would have a laugh and suggest new ideas or decide the next plan of action or set of tasks needed to be completed. As a group we worked really well together and this can be demonstrated on how well we communicated with each-other and how well we all managed our time and finish the short film on time. I believe we worked so well as a group because we all helped each-other with the work load and did not allocate a role to a specific individual. For example we did not rely on one member within the group to complete modeling tasks by himself. We did not have one member working on texturing and the other animating and rendering. We all had a part to play in every development stage within the project. We all learnt from one another on this project in terms of acquiring or developing skills. If something went wrong we would always suggests new ways to tackle the problem and we assessed the situation and usually had a plan B or C. For instance we made sure that each of us had copies of the project files so that if a computer was to malfunction or if data was corrupted we would always have spare files. We also developed an understanding between one another and I believe that our relationship between each-other was a huge factor to the success of our team and the finished film.
